Celebrity Grand Organ Recital – Thomas Ospital

Thomas Ospital, St Eustache, Paris

A chance to experience hearing one of the most amazing musical instruments in the country played by one of the finest organists. At the age of just 26, Thomas Ospital has recently been appointed to two of Paris’ most prestigious musical posts – organist of St Eustache (home to France’s largest pipe organ), and organist in residence at the Maison de la Radio. His meteoric rise comes after gaining five first prizes from the Paris Conservatoire, and following a string of competition successes around the world. His masterful interpretations of the pillars of the organ literature and dazzling  mprovisations have already garnered international praise, and his RHS concert promises to be a significant event in the British organ calendar. A concert not to be missed! With all the action from the organ console being projected onto a big screen at the front of the Chapel, the audience will gain a unique insight into what is involved in making music on such a large instrument.
