GLORIOUS PIPES! Organ recital by Peter Crompton, Organist Emeritus, RHS

Organist Emeritus Peter Crompton brings his infectious brand of programming and performance back to RHS. Associated with the School since 1975, Peter knows the Grand Organ better than anyone, and is sure to reveal its hidden colours and overwhelming power. As a recitalist and accompanist, Peter has appeared at many major venues, including St Paul’s Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, Liverpool Cathedral and the Royal Albert Hall. He has broadcast on BBC Radios 2 & 3, and has made several highly acclaimed recordings. With all the action from the organ console being projected onto a big screen at the front of the chapel, the audience will gain a unique insight into what is involved in making music on such a large instrument.
