RCO Study Day June 2020

Organists’ Clinic for players of any ability. Bring along pieces or hymns to play, and receive expert instruction, advice and encouragement.

Tips on hymn playing / using the pedals /practice & performance – how do we learn a piece of music?

Workshops will be taken by: Edward Allen (RHS Head of Academic Music) and David Poulter (RHS School Organist).

The afternoon will conclude with an organ recital by Peter Crompton (Organist Emeritus, RHS).

There will be a maximum of 12 participants divided into 2 groups; or simply come along to relax, observe and listen to others playing.
