University Centre Colchester Presents 'Spring Awakening The Musical

A world consumed by youth oppression, a collection of teenagers are forced to unshackle their adolescent anarchy in a musical retelling of Frank Wedekind’s Spring Awakening. Silenced by a censorious society these teenagers find strength within each other that ultimately move their journeys into a tragic but brave, new world.

Steven Sater & Duncan Sheik’s Multi Tony Award winning will be presented at University Centre Colchester on 18th to 20th May 2023. This much loved musical around the globe explores hard hitting themes through a lens of rock music that illuminates stories like no other musical can.
